BMP Hero Launches Across Colorado Golf Courses to Drive 100% Facility BMP Adoption - collaboration between RMGCSA, RMEGI, and BMP Hero sets a new standard for sustainability. BMP Hero, a revolutionary platform designed to simplify and streamline Best Management Practices (BMP) adoption, is now rolling out to golf courses across Colorado. Nevada Golf Drives Positive Environmental and Economic Impacts for the State - new video shows golf course environmental stewardship, water conservation measures, wildlife habitat, and economic impact of $2B contributed from the Nevada golf industry. The Southern Nevada Golf Course Superintendents Association (SNGCSA) and Nevada Golf Alliance (NGA) in collaboration with Radius Sports Group have released a new video showing the mission of golf course superintendents toward environmental stewardship, conservation, and improved quality of life for Nevada residents. The Lone Star Golf Course Superintendents Association (LSGCSA) partnered with Radius Sports Group to develop the Texas Golf Industry BMP Guide. Texas, the largest state in the continental United States, is recognized for its rich history, agriculture, tourism, and a strong sense of American pride. There are more than 900 golf courses in the state, contributing over 98,000 jobs and $7.4 billion to the economy. The LSGCSA represents five regional state chapters comprised of dedicated agronomists, golf maintenance professionals, industry partners, and educators who are responsible for the maintenance and sustainability of golf courses throughout the state. The Wisconsin Golf Course Superintendents Association (WGCSA) and Northern Great Lakes (NGL) chapter of the GCSA partnered with Radius Sports Group to develop the Wisconsin Golf Industry Best Management Practices Guide. Golf plays a special role within Wisconsin, as the industry generates $2.4 billion in total economic output, produces 38,431 jobs, and contributes $772 million in wage income. The Colorado Golf Economic & Environmental Impact Report is the first of its kind to integrate Sustainable Development Goals demonstrating local and global impacts. The Colorado golf industry occupies a critical place in the state, driving both economic impact and environmental stewardship. Colorado golf provides fitness, recreation, and time spent outdoors while driving $1.29B of direct economic impact and providing 33,061 acres of greenspace. The green infrastructure supports benefits for Colorado communities, including wildlife habitats, a reduction in the urban heat island effect, filtration of surface water runoff, and positive impacts on the overall health and well-being of community members. The Colorado Golf Economic & Environmental Impact Report was a collaborative effort between Radius Sports Group, the National Golf Foundation (NGF), and the Colorado Golf Coalition (CGC), comprised of the Colorado Golf Association (CGA), Mile High Chapter of the Club Management Association of America (Mile-High CMAA), Colorado Section of the PGA (COPGA), Rocky Mountain Golf Course Superintendents Association (RMGCSA).
Radius Sports Group worked in collaboration with the Connecticut Association of Golf Course Superintendents (CAGCS) to develop the Connecticut Golf Industry Best Management Practices Guide promoting sustainability and environmental responsibility throughout the state. The CAGCS, founded in 1929, is comprised of hard-working agronomists responsible for maintaining golf courses throughout the state. Golf plays a special role within Connecticut, as it is home to some of the oldest golf clubs in the country. Connecticut's terrain spans across coastal towns, mountains, plains, river valleys, urban centers, and forested areas. Connecticut golf BMPs cover 12 key areas including surface water management, water quality, pollinator protection, integrated pest management (IPM), energy conservation, and more. The BMPs align with Connecticut regulatory and sustainability efforts; courses are encouraged to collaborate within their communities to make a positive impact today and in the future!
Radius Sports Group and the Oklahoma Golf Course Superintendents Association (OKGCSA) collaborated using science-based guidelines to develop the Oklahoma Golf Industry Best Management Practices Guide covering 12 key areas for sustainable resource management.
